DESCRIPTION:Collaboration is at the heart of turning ideas into impact – especially in regions undergoing transformation. \nThis seminar focuses on how to move from ideas to joint action. You will explore how entrepreneurial thinking unfolds not only individually\, but in teams\, networks\, and real-world collaborations. \nUsing practical examples of both successful and failed initiatives\, we will reflect on what enables cooperation – and where tensions arise. You will develop your own mission statement as a way to provide direction and inspire others\, while gaining hands-on experience in networking and navigating conflicts. \nThrough a combination of theory\, practical exercises\, and reflection you will discover how communication\, trust\, and shared vision become key drivers for creating sustainable impact. \nLecturer: Dr. Claudia Langosch \nRegistration for the seminar series on StudIP. \nTake-aways \n\nUnderstand what drives and blocks collaboration and success\nNavigate complexity and conflicting interests\nDevelop and communicate your own mission\nBuild relationships that create impact\n\nContent\nStart:\nWhat enables collaboration – and why do good ideas often fail in practice?\nHow do communication\, trust\, and shared understanding shape joint action?\nWhat typical tensions arise when working with others in complex settings? \nExplore:\nHow do different perspectives and interests influence collaboration?\nWhat patterns can we observe in successful and failed projects?\nHow can I communicate my ideas in a way that invites others to engage?\nWhat role do relationships\, networks\, and conflicts play in shaping outcomes? \nTransfer:\nClarify and articulate your own mission statement.\nStrengthen your ability to connect\, collaborate\, and navigate tensions.\nFeel more confident in bringing others on board and turning ideas into impact. \nTarget Audience: Doctoral students and postdocs \nTerms and Applications: \n\nThe seminar consists of 3 appointments and additional online learning modules (workload about 25 SWS).
