SUMMARY:Science Market at SILBERSALZ Festival
DESCRIPTION:Gettin’ ready\nThe Silbersalz Festival for Science Communication will take place once again in Halle (Saale) on the last weekend of October 2026. Come and visit us at the various venues to experience sparks fly. \nThe Just Transition Center will be taking part in the ‘Structural Change’ science market\, which runs alongside the festival and will be held at three different locations this year: the Halloren and Saline Museum\, the former Xenos (Große Ulrichstraße)\, and in Halle-Neustadt. The programme is currently being finalised\, but we can already reveal that\, in addition to our booth at the Saline Museum\, we’ll also be organising various other activities on site this year. DESCRIPTION:What Connects Us\nCivic Engagement and Science in the Context of Structural Change\nFour tandems\, each consisting of partners from academia and civil society\, will provide insights into their joint projects. Accompanying interactive sessions will offer space for exchange\, the exploration of new perspectives\, and the development of collaborative ideas. \nThe goal of this dialogue is to identify concrete starting points for cooperation between the scientific community\, regional stakeholders\, and practical partners within the Central German Region (Mitteldeutsches Revier). \nThe event will be held in German.
