In public administration, we are cutting through bureaucracy with our AI-powered funding guidelines generator —eliminating paperwork and unnecessary administrative burdens.
At the same time, we are driving the urgently needed modernization of the justice system. Our flagship project: modeling a fully digital debt enforcement process in partnership with the Ministry of Justice.
We are embedding digital expertise in the region through our “Future Legal Education” certificate program and fostering innovation with our Lab Launch Space on campus—a creative hub for new ideas. By doing so, we retain talent in the region and counteract the brain drain of young legal professionals.
Our global impact is demonstrated by our interactive Explorer Tool for UNCITRAL documents, positioning our region as a leader in cutting-edge LegalTech solutions.

We cordially invite you
In the coming summer semester, a diverse program of events invites participants to discuss current issues relating to legal tech, AI, and digitization. The Legal Tech Talks, the AI workshop, and the open exchange format Prompt & Lunch provide regular opportunities to learn about new ideas and share experiences.
Formats such as the open house, participation in the Merseburger Digitaltage, and Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften open the LegalTech Lab to the public and make our work accessible to a wider audience.
The program is supplemented by guest lectures, workshops, seminars organized by the IT & Law Network, as well as selected conference participation and project-related specialist events. Overall, the summer semester offers many opportunities to contribute ideas, join in discussions, and network.
