JTC in German Media (MDR)

Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR) recently visited the laboratories of our ‘Designer proteins as bio-based binders’ team to find out what they are researching.

In the report, team leader Constanze Zwies explains how the idea for a sustainable adhesive came about and how it is produced in the BioCentre’s laboratories using E. coli bacteria. She also has some possible applications ready.
