further informationen
In the course of his interdisciplinary agricultural studies and work assignments, Jakob Herrmann has developed a specific interest in the management of ‘problem soils’ and the restoration of degraded landscapes.
While having worked extensively on soil salinity in tropical Eastern Africa in recent years, he is excited to now explore sustainable recultivation strategies in post-mining landscapes in the context of his position at the JTC.
