Dialogue and Impact Management
When researchers and local communities engage in dialogue, solutions to real-world challenges can emerge. Dialogue and Impact Management brings research teams together with stakeholders from politics, business, and civil society to develop collaborative impact initiatives. The right partnerships turn ideas into projects that make a difference in the region
Dialogue and Impact Management at the JTC Transfer Incubator connects JTC research teams with stakeholders from politics, business, and civil society in southern Saxony-Anhalt. The Revierscouts serve as the regional radar for Dialogue and Impact Management: they identify issues, connect stakeholders, and get the dialogue moving. The aim of dialogue and impact management is to build on this foundation to develop cooperative “impact cases”—concrete projects in which the interaction of scientific expertise and practical experience generates sustainable solutions to regional challenges.
Dialogue and impact management focuses on facilitating dialogue—with tact and a clear eye on the goal:
Finding the right partners
How do we effectively link regional challenges with scientific expertise?
Developing a common language
How do we reach a common understanding of problems and potential solutions?
Building cooperative projects
How does dialogue give rise to a viable, joint initiative?
Making the impact visible
What impact does the collaboration have?
Dialogue and impact management is about building bridges between academia and the region—through the JTC Dialogue platform, support with project planning and reflection, and guidance on funding opportunities.
